Charlie has spent the last few days with me visiting Madrid while I visit a new city and attempt to practice Spanish in advance of my trip to Chile next month.
We have only been here two nights, and are soon due to go back to the airport for our return flight, but we have enjoyed our time here. In addition to some great food and drinks, plus some time walking around exploring, we have visited a number of the key sights including Parque el Retiro, Palacio Real, Puerta del Sol, the National Archaeological Museum, the Museum of The Americas, Plaza España, Plaza Mayor and more.
The weather has been really nice, T-Shirt weather for me although the locals are wearing coats, and it has been great to visit this city that I have heard so much about.
