Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand here I come

While I do like spontaneity, for example when I decided to book a weekend in Barcelona less than 12 hours before my flight, when it comes to long haul travel I do like to plan ahead.
Therefore, I’m super excited to say that I’ll be returning to South East Asia for my next trip, and will be travelling through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand.
I’ve been to South East Asia before – to Myanmar, Thailand, and Singapore – but I’ve never been to Cambodia or Vietnam before and I’m really looking forward to adding them to the list of countries that I have visited.
They’re countries that I have wanted to visit for a long time so it’ll be great to see everything that they have to offer, taking in sights such as:
- Ho Chi Minh City
- Mekong River Delta
- Killing Fields of Phnom Penh
- Angkor Temples
- Bangkok
A Hong Kong layover
In addition to the main destination countries, I’ll have long layovers in each direction in Hong Kong. Let’s see whether I have better weather than when I was there 10 years ago, when the fog was so bad you couldn’t see any of the sights.
My trip isn’t until 2025, so it’ll be a while before I travel, and it’ll be even longer before my next blog appears on here. However, expect lots of amazing photos and stories from my time there at some point after I return… and I’ll try to get everything on this blog quicker than usual!
Have you been to this part of the world?
If you have been to this part of the world, I’d love to hear from you. Particularly if you have any tips on things to see in Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, or during a long layover in Hong Kong.
You can get in contact with me via this site.
