Today Charlie accompanied me to my London 2012 Games Maker interview at the Excel Centre in London to wish me luck and to have a short trip out of town in advance of my longer trip to The USA and Central America next year which will be his first trip abroad.
He even made a friend, Wenlock the London 2012 official mascot who, unlike Charlie, will not be travelling with me but who I am sure will keep Charlie company when they are both at home.
